A member of an Ishikawa prefectural assembly, Mr. Tadao Ishida, who currently serves as a chairperson of a group of supporters for Mr. Masaru Koizumi, a mayor of Shika-Machi, Hakui County, once lost his bid to win an election for an assembly position in the Ishikawa Prefecture against Mr. Koizumi.
To avenge his loss, he conspired to accuse Mr. Koizumi of a violation of an election laws for public office by falsifying academic records, which constitutes criminal charge of making false public statements during election. He reached out to Ombudsman Shika to conduct an
investigation into Mr. Koizumi’s academic records for a hundred sixty-million-yen.
9 years of research and subsequent hearing at a local municipal court in the United States resulted in a final court decree which declares that the disclosure of all of the evidences of academic records belonging to Mr. Koizumi Masaru to be counterfeit documents.
In the meantime, having already made amends with Mr. Koizumi and becoming a chairperson of his group of supporters, Mr. Ishida has hired fifteen attorneys from five law firms in an effort to obstruct a court hearing and for a prosecutor’s office to drop charges by applying pressures to protect Mr. Koizumi. As such, it is then evident that Mr. Tadao Ishida, a member of prefectural assembly, is a man of great stature.
